Answers, without hedging.

Questions on research peptides, Certificates of Analysis, storage, shipping, and the research-use framing.

  • Research peptides are short chains of amino acids produced by solid-phase synthesis for use in in vitro research, laboratory investigation, and preclinical model work. They are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder and reconstituted by researchers at the point of use. They are not pharmaceuticals, are not FDA-approved for human use, and are sold exclusively for research purposes.

  • Research use only — or RUO — is a regulatory framing that clarifies a product is sold for laboratory investigation and in vitro study rather than for human or veterinary consumption. Verdaine products are not pharmaceuticals. They are not evaluated for safety in humans, and we do not provide dosing, administration, or therapeutic guidance.

  • Lyophilized peptides are stable at room temperature for short windows (weeks). For storage beyond three months, refrigerate at 2–8°C in the original sealed vial. Once reconstituted, peptides should be refrigerated for short-term use and aliquoted and frozen (-20°C or -80°C) for longer stability. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is the document that proves what is in the vial. A complete CoA includes the HPLC chromatogram (purity by peak area), the mass-spectrometry trace (molecular-weight confirmation), the appearance and solubility panel, and batch metadata (lot number, synthesis date, analyst signature). Verdaine publishes the full raw CoA for every product on its product page.

  • Our minimum specification is 98.5% HPLC purity. In practice, Verdaine lots routinely test at 99% and above on reverse-phase HPLC at 220nm, with mass-spec confirmation of the main peak. Each product page lists the actual measured purity for the current lot.

  • Standard shipping via USPS or UPS in discreet packaging. Lyophilized peptides do not require cold-pack shipping; they are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of transit. Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days; domestic delivery is 2–3 business days.

  • We currently ship within the United States. International availability is on our 2026 roadmap. Subscribe to the Journal for updates.

  • Due to the nature of research materials, we cannot accept returns of opened or unsealed product. Unopened product may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Any product that arrives damaged or does not match its Certificate of Analysis will be replaced at our expense.

  • No. Verdaine does not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, or administration instructions. Our published materials — product pages, Journal articles, and Academy coursework — survey the published scientific literature and are framed accordingly. We are a research supplier, not a clinic.

  • Yes. Every product page links to the full CoA PDF for the current batch, including the raw HPLC chromatogram and the LC-MS trace. If you need historical batch documents, email hello@verdaine.com with the lot number.
